| Does everything it says on the tin! Seiously good effort guys. You've both been doing this for so long now, you make it look effortless, which of course, as we all can only imagine, it can't be. Whilst Lynn runs around organising all the unseen work, Steve's at front of house breezing his way through the very long day! Just when I'm thinking it can't possibly be him cooking the breakfast, out you bounce! The experience tells because guests don't have to do any thinking for themselves. All the right questions are answered before they've been asked. Where to go, what to expect. Bikinis, grass skirts....and that's the guys! You even pre-empted me by offering the extra bit of parking for a last walk around. That was much appreciated. Little bits here and there build to something much bigger. Thanks guys. If I'm ever down your way again, I'll definitely give you a call. |

| Like one of the previuos guests, pulled up outside The Sherwood by chance when we noticed the parking and the vacancy sign. Almost immediately we were greeted by Steve. Very much front of house with his wife Lynne organising everything in the backround. There must be more than one of this guy! At every turn he's there. During the day, late at night and when I thought it must be someone else cooking the breakfast, out bounces Steve, looking every bit the chef! Seriuosly, these people have been doing things right for so long, they make it look effortless which of course, it isn'nt. You hardly even have to think for yourself. With all the experience and natural patter, he's got all the right questions....and advice. Where to go and more to the point, what to expect. Bikinis, grass skirts...and that's the guys! He even pre-empted me when we were checking out. Wondering where I was going to park for a final walk around, Steve offered the option of leaving the car for a couple of hours. Nice gesrure. Does everything it says on the tin! Well done guys. If I'm ever down your way again, Ill definitely give you a call. Cheers. | |

| We have been coming here for 10 years every summer a big gang of us. The food is excellent, best breakfast in Blackpool! Evening meal menu exceptional, 5 star. Lynn and Ste are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, friendly and inviting towards us. We would never stay anywhere else not even abroad. We would recommend anyone visiting Blackpool to stay at the Sherwood. | |

| Out of all the hotels, we just happened to pull up outside this one, great hosts, excellent breakfast, felt like we'd known Steve and Lynn for years! Would deffinetley recommend to anyone staying in Blackpool. Bill, Linda, Christina, Leanne & Olivia. |

| Warm, friendly atmosphere, nothing too much trouble and host and hostess always helpful. Rooms clean with all essential facilities (no 'bickies' though but provided if asked for!). Excellent breakfasts with good variety of choice and beautifully presented. Would stay at this hotel again if visiting Blackpool in the future. |
